Happy Halloween

What a fun day we had. Tonight, Miss M is exhausted and completely sugared out! We had planned to go to the Gallivan Center (I read in the paper that there was a big event there for kids today) So we loaded up the car and off we went. When we got there it was like a ghost town - yes "ghost" is cool for Halloween but I mean there was NOTHING there. What the heck??? Why did they advertise something that wasnt going to happen? Well instead of calling the day a total loss we decided to go to the Gateway for lunch and to see if what we could do. What a great idea that was!!! Most of the stores in the Gateway do "Trick or Treating" for kids so we had a blast walking around from store to store getting candy. It didnt take long for Miss M to get the hang of it. One piece of candy was all it took and she was running all around with her bag out waiting for people to put candy in it. I am sure she will be carrying around her Trick or Treat bag for the next several days.

Miss M's costume turned out better than I planned and she looked so adorable! I dont claim to be the greatest seamstress but I am grateful that I know my way around a sewing machine enough to be able to make a costume for her.
Thanks to my family for coming along and spending the day with us! We had fun together!!!
Here are some pics of my nieces and nephew from today!

I wish I had your mad skills on the sewing machine. Lucky me I have a really good friend that fills in the gap for me which means I bribe her to make my stuff.

I don't think you like Disneyland and Disneyworld at all. I think you might want to give those tickets to us. JK Love her costume. So stinkin' cute. You guys have tons of fun in Disneyworld. Put on your walking shoes, there is so much to see. Spencer and I loved it.
